Deadly wildfires continue to ravage parts of Texas and Oklahoma, with more than 1 million acres already burned. The Smokehouse Creek Fire, which is only 3% contained, has become the largest fire on record in Texas, consuming over 1 million acres. In Oklahoma, the fire has scorched more than 31,500 acres. Three other wildfires are also devastating the Texas Panhandle, causing destruction to neighborhoods, displacing residents, and damaging the agriculture industry. High winds and dry conditions are expected to worsen the situation in the coming days. So far, two fatalities have been reported, and thousands of acres of land have been destroyed.
